A Journey from JNV Banipur to Medical College Kolkata
Hello, I am Dr. Dipendu Mondal, a medical intern at Medical College Kolkata.
My journey in medicine began with a dream that grew through years of learning, hard work, and the support of people who believed in me. From my school days at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Banipur, to my medical education, every step has taught me something valuable.

I joined Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Banipur, in 2013. My years at JNV played an important role in shaping my personality, discipline, and outlook towards life.
I completed my schooling in 2020, carrying with me the lessons, friendships, and memories that continue to guide me.
Dakshana Foundation
After completing my schooling, I joined Dakshana Foundation. The guidance and opportunities I received there helped me prepare for the next step in my academic journey.
Dakshana became an important part of my story, helping me move closer to my dream of becoming a doctor.
Medical College Kolkata
Today, I am pursuing my medical journey at Medical College Kolkata, where I am currently completing my internship.
My time here continues to teach me the importance of patience, responsibility, and understanding the people behind every medical case.
My Perspective on Medicine
For me, medicine is not just about studying diseases or understanding the human body. It is also about listening to people, understanding their concerns, and treating them with kindness.
I believe that even a small act of compassion can make a difference in someone’s life.
As I continue my medical training, I hope to become a doctor who combines medical knowledge with empathy, honesty, and respect for every patient.
